Tropical Storm Dolly

Well it finally has a name, and she’s on her way.

We’ve had some odd weather the past day and a half. Sudden big swirling blowing winds, bouts of quick rain, peeking intense sun followed by blue black clouds, etc.

She’s due her in Merida very early Monday, we’ll see!

I moved from Colorado Springs, Colorado USA to Merida, Yucatan, MX in January 2006. I love to read, garden, travel, and hang out with friends.

Hi guysDon’t these things tend to lose speed and severity once they hit land – I am anticipating a good blow, and a lot of rain, but not much else. fingers and toes crossed. We did make a grocery run today and bought a bit more than usual, as well we had our roof top gas tank topped off yesterday.

Try to stay dry, I think Merida might get a little more of Miss Dolly than we will here in Cancun. I expect we’ll be wet and possibly without electricity at some point, but hopefully we’ll be well asleep. Thinking of all my Peninsula amigos!

If you saw the new photograph on Jonna’s web, you know that Dolly is on the awy. Hang on tight.
