Puerto Vallarta –

Tom and I are in Puerto Vallarta.
We are visiting friends from Colorado who have been down here for 2+ months already, and won’t leave for another month or so.

They have a condo high on a hill with an amazing view of the bay!
Tom and I started visiting Puerto Vallarta back in the 70’s and used to come quite often.  Living in Colorado Springs, charters from Denver to PVR were quite reasonable.   Now, well we rarely get here – although we were here just a short while back with some other friends, who coincidentally were staying in a different condo complex on the same hill, also with an amazing (whale-less) view.
Anyway, we’re in PVR, so my next few posts will about being here!

About Debi in Merida

I moved from Colorado Springs, Colorado USA to Merida, Yucatan, MX in January 2006. I love to read, garden, travel, and hang out with friends.

Marc, the condos are actually a bit farther South, above playa Conchas Chinas. Still, a lovely view, and buses run frequently, but oh that walk up and down the hill – killer.
Nancy, I sent you an email, need more details on a trip…would LOVE to see you and Paul!

I bet you were just talking about popping up to Mazatlan for a visit, weren't you? Plenty of room, we'd love to have you!

Wow. Looks like the pictures were taken from the neighborhood I used to enjoy, south of the river down in the southermost part of the old town. Those apartments built up on the hillside just down from Playa los Muertos have the greatest views. That part of downtown for me is much more pleasant that the new hotel and condo developments further north, and sections still have a neighborhood feel to them. Nice.
