Moving to Merida

I’ve been reading a lot of blogs lately by people dreaming of, in transition to, or recently moved to Merida.

I have very few of them in my BlogRoll.  I have a long BlogRoll and need to purge those that haven’t/don’t seem to blog anymore.

Therefore I think it may be time to restructure my BlogRoll into Topic BlogRolls.

  1. Thanks all for your thoughts – I think I will reorganize, AND change from Old Timers, to Long Timers.
I will retain the structure where most recent poters aer at the top, I really like that!
    Thanks again
    Debi

“Old” sounds so, well, crotchety. My definition of old is somebody at least 20 years my senior. Always. Could I suggest you rephrase Merida Old Timers to Merida Long Timers?

I think you should do whatever makes sense to you. 🙂 I have a long list, too, and keep adding to it. I faithfully read each one but it does get a bit cumbersome to keep checking the ones who don't post often. For my purposes I like the way you have yours set up, where you can see, at a glance, who's posted since the last time you read.

Sounds good to me!!! My Mexpat blogroll is in Alphabetical order, but maybe categories is the way to go. 🙂

I keep my bookmarks of blogs by country and topic. I like history,poly-sci, geology, science writers, they all get a line on the bookmark page.

I have been thinking of doing something similar to Nancy's organization of her blog roll — by region.
