What economic crisis in Spain?

Many people told us that the economic crisis in Spain would make it the perfect time to travel here because things would be cheaper. They were wrong. The economic crisis only affects the people living here.

We’ve spoken to a few locals and it is difficult for them because employment is scarce, yet prices of goods has increased.

So don’t let people fool you, economic downturn does not translate to cheap travel.

  1. It is amazing to me how expensive things are, as a tourist. Living here would be like living anywhere, you choose where to live how to live, depending on your needs, wants, desires.

    When I was there in April, I discovered the same thing. The exchange rate for the Euro was good, but prices in Spain were staggering.
