Tech, cyst removal, followup

Tech had surgery yesterday to remove the cyst.

We dropped her off at 9am and picked her up at nearly 7pm.

She is not a happy girl.  And she was not happy yesterday morning.

She knew,

don’t listen to those who say animals are stupid – they are the stupid ones.

As soon as we pulled up to the vet she started to shake, I’m talking full body quivers,  Tom had to pull her like a child’s toy, then actually pick her up.

When we got to the vet, a normally 30 minute drive, which last night took just over 1 1/2 hours due to construction and re-routing, as soon as she heard Tom’s voice we could hear her whining and chirping from the great beyond, you know, the areas where only licensed professionals may enter.

She has lots of meds, and, and this is the hardest part – the collar.

This is how she feels about the collar – she is snubbing us,

or else she just sits and glares

Chamaco also had his surgery yesterday, and he is doing just fine as well.

I am sure the cone makes him hear his masters a lot better!

  2. How does she dine with that collar? One wonders.

Yes this was certainly a situation that called for the dreaded collar. She would be all over that and those stitches. Lucky girl to have such a caring family.
