Another rescue from the UMAN clinic is this lovely girl.
When we picked her up, she came with her 6 puppies, which thankfully have been placed.
Molly was extremely thin (11.6 kg when we rescued her).
She is in foster care and undergoing medical treatment, thankfully she did not have heartworm. she is currently on antibiotics for ehrlichia, and supplements to improve her blood. She has been sterilized, is free of parasites, and growing more confident and playful daily. She is learning to walk on the leash, and basic commands. She is eating and gaining weight. She is starting to trust, and to be playful.
You can see, in just a short time she’s put on a bit of weight and is looking much healthier!
What Molly needs most right now is a permanent home.
Molly is more than one year old, but probably less than 2 years old. She is curious about cats, but not aggressive, and gets along with other dogs she meets.
Molly’s medical bills are currently over 1000 pesos, only 450 of which have been covered by donations, so if you can see your way clear to helping with a small donation to Planned Pethood for Molly’s care that too would be fabulous. We fear of wearing out our Foster parents if they have to constantly foot the bill.
