Mariposa needs a home.
She’s been with us since 28 December.
She is great with our dogs, even the ones that don’t like her. She’s good with new people. She’s ok with our old cat who really doesn’t like her; Her problem is she really wants our cat to play and he won’t.
She walks well on leash, but gets afraid of busses and loud vehicles going past, probably a defense mechanism from growing up on the streets.
She is playful, and affectionate. She is a small medium size dog. She weighs in at 10k (she has doubled her body weight since I brought he in off the street.
Her issue, and this will require a ‘very special’ home is that she is night blind. She sees perfectly fine during the day and in bright light. As light diminishes it gets harder and harder. She is very smart and adaptable. She learns her environment. She does require assistance in the dark to keep her on course, and to prevent her injury.
