sometimes you just gotta roll with the flow

Sometimes you just don't know what you are in for.

We came to Puerto Vallarta to visit with friends, sit on the beach, go to the Botanical Gardens, and maybe go whale watching.

Things didn't work out with the visiting with friends part, we had an earthquake, then a monster downpour that has left us under cloud cover and cold grey skies. The botanical gardens will have to wait for the trails to dry out a bit, whale watching, we are told, won't be affected by the downpour…and a friend in Merida died. And now the volcano in Colima is acting up, again! Phew, 3 days in and it's already quite a trip! What's next!

Well, I did see some cool graffitti art today!

we did buy our bus tickets to get to Guadalajara, and we spoke with the Marine Biologist that takes out whale tours, we have a tentative date fir that…they have a minimum to go so have to wait and see.

Let's see what tomorrow brings!
